Kerinci is Indonesia’s highest volcano situated in South Solok, West Sumatra, it is also known as the home of Sumatran tiger.  

Producers cultivate this coffee at Kerinci valley’s edge near Mount Kerinci.  The farmers are significant stakeholders in decreasing forest encroachment by using their coffee farms as a protective buffer for the Kerinci Seblat national park, which encircles the Kerinci valley with unparalleled natural beauty.  

This batch comes from the area around Kayu Aro in where some newer coffee areas are emerging, produced by smallholder farm.  It is one of the cleanest coffees that you can enjoy.  

 

Serving suggestion: best for drip coffee brewing @ 18 gr/cup.
